Mint Green Pink is the colour named for these antique bangles, and it shows in the square stones set at the ends of each band. The finish is Rajwadi, and the set has two bangles.

Down the length of each band runs a column of rounded shell shapes, one above another, like a row of small scallops. The shells are ribbed, which gives the surface a fine texture, and a plain flat strip runs along both sides to frame them. Because the stones appear only at the ends, the pattern in between does most of the work. The stones are artificial.

The set weighs 88 gm and reads as a firm, structured pair on the wrist. It goes well with a saree in a plain weave, a lehenga skirt or a long tunic.
