Here is, in plain words, how we handle your personal data (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
- What we collect. Your name, e-mail address and/or mobile number (verified with a one-time code) and country. Optional: gender and date of birth. Our store is for people aged 18 or above: by creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older. Later, if you order: delivery addresses, order and payment records.
- Why we use it. To create and secure your account; to take, pay for, deliver and (if needed) return your orders; to send service messages such as one-time codes and order updates; and to keep the records tax and accounting laws require. We use it for nothing else without asking you again.
- What is optional. Gender, date of birth and e-mail offers are optional. You can leave them out and your account is still created.
- Who we share it with. Only service providers that work for us under contract, by category: payment gateway, courier partners, e-mail and SMS providers, and hosting / IT providers. We never sell your data.
- How long we keep it. While your account is active, and we erase it within 30 days after you ask. Order and tax records are kept for up to 8 years because the law requires it.
- Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or erase your data, withdraw any consent at any time (as easily as you gave it: My Account, the link in our e-mails, or write to [email protected]), and nominate someone to act for you. Complain to our Grievance Officer at [email protected] first; if unresolved, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
