What do the squares on these antique bangles do? They anchor the design, one square piece at the centre of each open floral panel, with foliage and small blooms spreading out on either side. Between the panels, the metal is cut through, so the pattern looks like fine lace. The thick style tag shows in the broad band, which stands tall around the wrist.

Ruby is the colour you can choose, appearing in tiny dots among the foliage. The square centre is artificial and set in a plain frame, and the open work behind it gives the whole band a light, airy look despite its height. Because the edges are straight, the pair stacks neatly with nothing else. The pair is the same on both sides, so either bangle can go on either wrist, and the open work lets the sleeve edge show through.
