About This Layered Beaded Mala
Layered Traditional Mala is a mala with a metal alloy base and available in Ruby. Made in India and shipped across India in 2–4 business days.
A beaded mala is rarely this busy in the middle. Two strands of small textured round balls run down from the neck, and then a third, heavier strand of large oval pieces hangs below them, with fine chains falling alongside. At the point where the strands meet, a clear glassy rectangle sits on each side, which gives the mala a framed look. The earrings are small jhumkas with a leaf-shaped top and one oval drop.
Ruby is the only colour listed, and it shows in the large oval pieces and in the drop on each earring. The traditional style goes with a silk saree in one rich tone, a plain kurta or a simple suit, so the ovals can carry the colour. The rows near the neck keep the necklace full without a second necklace, and hair worn up lets the jhumkas hang free, so the whole set is seen.
