About This Bridal Hair Accessory

Four swags of chain hang on each side of this bridal piece, one of the hair accessories for women that is built around the parting. A round medallion made of concentric rings, with a small seated figure at its middle, sits at the top centre, and a matching figure pin holds each end. The outer swags are edged with small pale links, and a short central drop ends in a jhumki bell with a single round drop below it.

Only one colour is on the page, a soft pale shade. The layers of chain make the piece look full without being solid, and the pale edging on the outer swags softens the antique look of the metal. It is made for a hairstyle that can carry a decoration on each side as well as the middle: a centre parting with the hair swept back.
