Where many bangles are plain bands, these antique bangles add a scrolled top to each of four slim bands, shaped in the curves of a peacock design. Small stones are set inside the scrolls, with a hanging drop below, and a square stone sits at the join between sections. The style is traditional, and the four bangles in the set are the same.

The page offers ruby and green, and the two colours alternate through the scrolls, so each band carries a little of both. Because the bands are slim, the pattern stays delicate and the four sit close together. A cotton saree with a thin border, a plain kurta or a simple suit all suit the set.
