Ruby Green gives these antique bangles their accents: a few ruby-toned and green stones, set one at a time into a finely meshed band. The set has 2 bangles, and the stone count is deliberately low.

The band is built as a grid of tiny squares, giving a textured, woven feel. Between the stones sit flat panels with a small flower motif, set at intervals so that each section differs from the last. The edges are cut in gentle curves, so the band feels soft in the hand despite the grid. Because the colour is placed sparingly, the metalwork stays the main feature, and the stones act as markers along the way.
